SBI to Other Bank Money Transfer

SBI to other bank transfer money through Internet banking of State Bank of India (SBI).

For this you must have SBI internet banking and beneficiary name, address, SBI Branch Name, IFSC code of the other bank

Step 1: Login to State Bank Internet Banking (SBI).
Step 2: Choose Profile Menu


Step 3: You need to Login With Your Profile Password
After Login this Profile Section You will receive SMS following
SECURITY ALERT You have accessed ur profile section on ONLINESBI at 26/12/2012 11:48. If you have not accessed, please change your passwords immediately.
Step 4: After login to profile page  you need to  choose  Manage Beneficiary tab.

Step 5: Choose the Bank type.


1. Inside SBI to SBI transfer you can choose Intra bank Beneficiary 
2. For other bank like HDFC or IDBI or any other bank ,then you need to choose Inter bank Beneficiary. 
3To add any of state bank customer such as SBT, SBH,SBM or any state bank then choose state bank group beneficiary.
Step 6: Fill the profile details

  1. For Other Bank (Intra Bank) you need account number, Name, Address, Branch Name or IFSC Code.
Step 7: After adding the beneficiary , you will see the confirmation page


Verify the bank details and account number.

Step 8:  Now you need to Approve the Beneficiary.

You may need to increase or decrease the amount to be transferred to beneficiary using transfer limit option in profile page. this is Approve Limit.

Proceed with Approve Beneficiary.

You will see the beneficiary Status - Beneficiary Approval Pending.
You will receive an SMS for the Beneficiary Approval. Or click Resend SMS and now you may have got the sms. SMS will be delivered to you within 10 seconds.
Enter the SMS High Security Password in the page you got ,Now you need to wait for full approval, just wait for the next bank working day or Maximum 16 hours.
After the Beneficiary is approved you will get the SMS and from that moment you can perform money transfer.According to State bank , you cannot make transfer more than 50,000 Rs for single beneficiary even if you have SET higher Transfer Limit.
