Steps to add beneficiary in SBI Bank

step1: Login to your SBI netbanking account with your user name and password. Click the ‘profile’ tab .
step2: Profile pop up page ,enter your password
step3: you will screen to showing 'Third party Payee'
step4:Then you can enter the details of the payee which includes name, account number and transfer limit. maximum amount you could pay to this payee is the Transfer limit . You can change the limit again
step5:Click ‘submit’ to complete and you will get confirmation page
step6: Approve Beneficiary
In the last step where we need to approve the beneficiary. This step requires you to enter a high security code sent to your mobile phone.
1. in confirmation page you will get to click ‘Goto approve third party’ link .
2.select ‘Approve Beneficiary’ radio button , enter to send the high security code to your mobile. Click ‘approve’ to finish.
once the last step over , you are successfully added the beneficiary to your SBI netbanking account.
Added beneficiary will be verified by SBI within 16 hours (usually takes 6-8). Once the account is verified you can start transferring money to the beneficiary. Bank will inform you via SMS when the account completes verification process. this case SBI IFSC code is not required
