Demat Account :

 

In India, shares and securities are held electronically in a Dematerialized pr Demat account, instead of the investor taking physical possession of certificates. A Dematerialized account is opened by the investor while registering with an investment broker (or sub-broker). The Dematerialized account number is quoted for all transactions to enable electronic settlements of trades to take place. Every shareholder will have a Dematerialized account for the purpose of transacting shares.

 

Demat account is not a place for keeping money. It is a place for keeping shares. If you go through the Demat account, you will be able to know the movement of shares in and out of your Demat account as well as your current hold.

 

When you get demat a/c linked with the one of saving account. then in demat site there will be link to allocate funds link and add the amount that you want to transfer from your savings a/c and click submit.The transfer will happen in real time. 3. Click to the available forms of payment and select add new form for payment

4. Enter your Bank account details following

Account Holder Name - As given in the bank account

Bank Name - give your Bank name .. ICICI, SBI,HDFC etc

IFSC code - Each branch of the bank will have the IFSC code ..  you can get your IFSC code from the following site searchifsccode.blogspot.in ( verify the IFSC code with Bank before enter )

Swift-BIC - Check with your Bank get the Swift_BIC code for Bank in the state  or else you can check here searchifsccode.blogspot.in ( verify with Bank before enter)

Account Number - Give the account number to which you need get the amount credited ( verify the account number before enter)

5. Click on SAVE once you have filled everything.
