SBI Mobile Banking Service
SBI offers Immediate Payment Service (IMPS)
SBI IMPS offers an instant, 24X7, interbank electronic fund transfer service through mobile phones accessing your bank accounts. Transfer of funds is real time i.e. beneficiary accounts is credited instantly.
For receiving remittance, you need to share either (i) mobile number and MMID or (ii) Account number and IFS Code with the person sending money (remitter).

what and how to get MMID?
If you are using Mobile Banking Service through an Application, you can generate MMID for all your accounts enabled for Mobile Banking Service, through menu option- IMPS>Generate MMID.
If you are not registered for Mobile Banking Service, please visit the Branch and apply for MMID, by filling up a form.
How to transfer funds using this Service?
Customers using the Application based service may please follow the steps as under:
Open the mobile banking application
Go to =>Select IMPS >IMPS Funds Transfer – (i) To Mobile No. or (ii) To Account No. > For (i) enter mobile number & MMID of the payee or (ii) enter account number & IFS Code of the payee > enter amount and remarks (optional) > select account to be debited
Choose OK
Enter MPIN
Choose confirm and send the request.
Customers using the SMS Banking can send the following key words to 92234400009223440000 for making a funds transfer through IMPS.
<IMPS><Mobile No>< MMID>< amount><User ID><MPIN><Purpose(Optional- 20 Char)>
Forgotten your MMID?
You can retrieve the MMID for your account using any of the following methods:
Send the message MMID SBI to 92234400009223440000 (for retrieving MMID for all accounts)
(Or)
Send the message MMID SBI account number to 92234400009223440000 (for retrieving MMID for a particular account) (Or)
If you are registered for Mobile Banking Service, using the application mode, please retrieve the MMID for the accounts enabled for Mobile Banking through menu option- IMPS- Retrieve MMID.

Chose Mobile Banking (Option 3)
You will be attended to by Customer Service Representative.
Provide Mobile Number.
You will be asked to validate certain particulars.
On successful validation, MMID will be sent by SMS to you.
